Local Bus

A high-speed bus between devices and the processors. An example of a local bus is the PCI bus.

L2 Cache

L2 cache is cache memory that is located outside the processor (CPU) and is used to store frequently accessed information to make calculating for processes much faster than if retrieving data from RAM or the hardrive.
